Residential Support Staff Intern
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Interns will work along side staff in the residential houses.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to pass a background check.
- This position requires patience, good judgment and a willingness to learn new skills.
- Must be committed to cooperative work habits in a team environment.
DUTIES:
- Display courtesy and respect to clients at all times.
- Work actively to support client IISP goals.
- Assist in the responsibility for the day-to-day upkeep of the client’s home.
- Assist with meal preparation, shopping, client hygiene, financial record keeping and client appointments.
- Provide accurate and consistent documentation as required per WAC and policy.
- Use respectful language and demeanor with coworkers.
- Dress modestly. Use professional conduct in representing clients and the agency in the wider community.
