Kokua provides extensive paid training for new employees. Kokua offers employees medical, dental, and vision coverage after 275 days of full-time employment. We also have a 125 Plan and a 401-K Plan.
APPLICATION PROCESS
Kokua does pre-employment testing and interviewing on Tuesdays (except for the third full week of the month.) Please complete the application packet and bring the packet to the next scheduled Interview Day. The process takes approximately three hours. Please come promptly at 8 am and plan on staying as late as 11 am.
Please bring the following with you to Interview Day:
- Application packet
- An employment driving record from the Department of Licensing. These can be obtained Tuesday through Saturday at the licensing office at 645 Woodland Square Loop in Lacey (just off College Street.)
- Your driver’s license and your Social Security card.
- Your vehicle insurance card.
- The following items are not required, but if you have them please bring them as well: First Aid/CPR card, Nurse Delegation Core Training Certificate, NAR or CAN card, HIV training certificate, Bloodborne Pathogens training certificate.
